Job Overview
The role of Assistant Ginner is responsible for the efficient, effective and safe operation of all areas under their control.
This position may require travel to work at other gin production sites as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Gin Operation and Safety - Ensure a high standard of safety and compliance in all gin operations.
* Maintenance - Constantly monitor and maintain machinery and equipment to facilitate continuity of production and quality.
* Employee Supervision - Supervise employees to ensure they are aware of and adhere to gin operations procedures.
* Work Permits - Assist ginner and site management with ensuring work permits are completed for all high-risk activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Mechanical Experience or Trade Background
* Ability to Identify/Control Weaknesses in Process and Implement Best Practices
* Self-Starter with Ability to Work Independently Takes Initiative and Challenges When Required
* Good Work Ethic and Team Player
* Ability and Willingness to Interact Effectively with All Levels of Employees, Customers and Third Parties
* Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills with Attention to Detail and Accuracy
