The Armidale Rural Referral Hospital - Oncology Day Unit is a busy 8 chair/1 bed day unit providing treatment to adult patients from Armidale and surrounding areas with both oncological and haematological diagnoses. It runs Monday to Friday excluding public holidays – say goodbye to weekend work! The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic team providing safe, compassionate person centred care and support in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team throughout their cancer journey.You won’t be working alone – you will be provided with a thorough orientation process including supernumery days and will also be supported by Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Consultants and Clinical Nurse Educators specialised in Oncology.As Our Newest RN, You WillDemonstrate your recent experience in Oncology or Haematology nursingHave post graduate qualifications relevant to oncology, or a willingness to undertakeBe accredited in cannulationWhere You’ll Be WorkingArmidale is the main hub of the New England High Country and one of Australia’s most elegant regional locations, known for its 19th-century churches and heritage architecture.
