The purpose of the role is to provide team support and assist other security team members in delivery of work to customer sites. It is also responsible for servicing customer sites, maximising customer satisfaction and minimising customer site downtime by providing exceptional technical support.
Responsibilities
* Service and maintenance of Honeywell and third‑party equipment (as per trade expertise)
* Configuration, diagnosis, fault, repairs and programming of building services (e.g. CCTV, Type 1A, access control and third‑party systems including Gallagher and Lenel)
* Software load and configuration of Honeywell systems and other systems as required
* Minor project management of service projects and small works including high level of management of customer and ensuring project milestones are achieved
* Carrying out hazard and risk assessments for all tasks
* Pre‑sales support for implementation projects
* Guaranteeing customer satisfaction through direct liaison with client representatives, customers, and service recipients
* Day‑to‑day servicing, calibrations and maintenance; including diagnoses, repairs, faults, programming and commissioning in security systems
* Navigate and interrogate security / BMS and ICT interfaces
Qualifications
* NV 1 clearance essential
* Must obtain/maintain an appropriate security clearance for your customer sites
* Appropriate Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic, or Mechatronic qualification advantageous
* Four years' proven background in the servicing and maintenance of security equipment
* Experience in configuration, diagnosis, repairs and programming of security services (e.g. CCTV, Type 1A, access control and third‑party systems including Gallagher and Lenel)
* DDC experience: knowledge of DDC and controls systems
* Electrical experience: basic knowledge of electrical diagrams and electrical switching
* Instrumentation experience – knowledge of instrumentation devices and control applications
* Knowledge of Computerised Maintenance Management systems and procedures
* Valid and unrestricted driver's licence
