Senior Development Manager 
role at Bendigo Advertiser. The Hunter and Central Coast Development Corporation (HCCDC) seeks a Senior Development Manager to support its objective of creating thriving communities across the Hunter and Central Coast. 
The role reports to the Director and will lead urban renewal projects in the Hunter and Central Coast, with accountability for planning, approvals, delivery, financial control and disposal of projects. A key part of the role is identifying and building relationships with targeted community, public and private stakeholders to forge, secure and deliver partnership opportunities. 
This senior position supports HCCDC's vision to grow diverse jobs and create more homes and attractive lifestyle opportunities in the regions. The role includes working on urban renewal projects such as Honeysuckle and Broadmeadow precincts, delivering public parks, managing parklands, and facilitating development outcomes for various holdings. 
What You Will Bring To The Role 
Over 5 years' experience in property development and related fields 
Proven project management experience and expertise in overseeing and managing the full lifecycle of urban development projects 
Effective leadership skills with the ability to build, supervise and inspire multidisciplinary teams, including consultants and internal colleagues 
Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship management with demonstrated ability to interact positively and successfully with diverse groups 
Analytical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills 
Highly motivated and self-driven skilled 
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality 
Strong written and verbal communication skills 
Essential Requirements 
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as property development, engineering, land economics, valuation, commerce, construction management, architecture, project management or planning. 
Employment details 
Temporary Full time till Dec 2027 
Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $151,227.00 to $176,110.00 + super 
Based in Newcastle with attractive and flexible conditions
