This position supports Aboriginal individuals accessing mental health services to feel culturally safe and empowered in making decisions about their health.
The role plays a crucial part in encouraging culture, spirituality and identity, basic needs work, roles and responsibilities, education, physical health, and mental health.
Key responsibilities include:
 * Encouraging culture, spirituality and identity and basic needs work, roles and responsibilities; education; physical health; and mental health.
 * Working as an integral part of the service, collaborating with clinicians to provide proactive community support for Aboriginal people with mental health issues, their families and carers.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
 * Developing strategies to encourage culture, spirituality and identity and basic needs work, roles and responsibilities; education; physical health; and mental health.
 * Providing collaborative support to Aboriginal individuals with mental health issues, their families and carers.
Ongoing support through advanced education and training is also available.
