HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) offers financial services to large corporate and institutional clients worldwide. Our Commercial Banking division supports large enterprises seeking to maximize potential by providing access to HSBC's broad range of banking products and services.
In this role, you will join the Global Network Banking (GNB) team, which provides banking services to subsidiaries of CIB clients across HSBC's global network, aiming to deepen client relationships. Your responsibilities include managing a portfolio of clients whose headquarters bank with HSBC in other countries, focusing on customer service and revenue growth.
Based in Sydney or Melbourne, this role offers an opportunity to expand your commercial banking experience with a large, internationally-focused portfolio, working across our suite of banking products, financial crime, and credit risk management.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Developing strategies to manage customer relationships, anticipating needs, and providing high-quality service to position HSBC as a market leader.
* Delivering excellent customer service through engagement, professionalism, and adherence to standards.
* Collaborating with the HSBC Compliance team to manage AML risks effectively.
* Onboarding new clients and conducting annual reviews to manage credit risks.
* Growing revenues from existing clients and onboarding new customers.
* Working with other global teams and partners to identify opportunities and strengthen relationships.
