About the position
The Accounts Receivable/Rent Review Officer will manage tenant accounts, ensuring timely collection of payments. This role will also coordinate and process rent reviews in line with lease agreements, maintaining accurate records and clear communication with tenants and stakeholders.
This position is available on a full time basis on a maximum term contract for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Tenant Transfers: Show off your skills by managing tenant transfers across all companies with precision.
* Refunds: Take charge of refunds every Tuesday and Thursday, with prep work from Monday to Wednesday. Your organizational prowess will shine here
* Water Invoicing: Dive into water invoicing and ensure everything flows smoothly.
* Weekly Water Checks: Perform thorough water checks. Make sure standard invoices and percentage charges are spot on, vacated tenants are cancelled, and low rent tenants are adjusted.
* Monthly Landlord Statements: Prepare monthly landlord statements for maintenance for the Accounts Payable team.
* Rent Review: Manage day-to-day rent reviews and assist with the completion of Periodic Rent Reviews (PRR).
Selection Criteria:
To be considered for this position, all applicants must address the following Selection Criteria:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position;
* Demonstrated analytical and problem solving ability;
* Possess highly developed organisation and time management skills;
* Excellent administration, workplace etiquette, protocols, written and verbal communication skills;
* Detailed knowledge and the practical application of MS Outlook, Word, Excel;
* Desirable - Certificate III in Accounts or Accounting
