Are you a Technical Writer who can turn complex systems into clear, usable content?
Resolve Recruit is seeking up to two Technical Writers to support a major applications modernisation program within a secure government environment. You'll create new documentation and reverse-engineer existing high-level design materials into clear, accurate artefacts – covering user manuals, training materials, system documentation, FAQs and more.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with system analysts, UX designers, solution engineers and other stakeholders to gather technical information and ensure accuracy in documentation.
* Develop communication plans and materials to support organisational change and user adoption initiatives.
* Align documentation deliverables with project/program milestones and government compliance standards (e.g. Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) compliance and is user-focused)
* Maintain version control and organise documentation repositories to ensure transparency and accessibility for stakeholders.
* Support project teams by documenting system configurations, business processes and change management workflows.
* Conduct regular reviews of technical content to ensure alignment with evolving policies processes and systems.
Key Experience and Skills:
* Proven technical writing experience in complex ICT or government environments.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
* Working knowledge of government policies, standards and accessibility requirements (e.g., WCAG).
* Experience supporting organisational change and user adoption.
* A user-centred mindset, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical content.
