Your role will encompass the key functions of driving outcomes in the field during installation, commissioning, and operation.
This is an interesting and dynamic role with jobsites worldwide.
More specifically you will:
- Manage the Global AMS Service team, associated shared resources and contractors including equipment requirements, training & development
- Develop / implement / optimise AMS Service processes
- Regularly review and report on costs versus estimate and develop plans for reductions where practical
- Ensure that administrative processes are transparent and well maintained
- Work closely with Service Manager LMS
- Take ownership of the provision of Technical Support
- Be a key driver of continuous improvement
- Operate a safety first culture
You will have:
- Relevant trade or university qualifications such as one or more of the following; instrumentation or electrical trades, electrical, automation, mechanical or mechatronic engineering degree, recognised project management certification
- Minimum of 10 years relevant work experience in areas such as OEM equipment service, industrial equipment installation and commissioning, automation, ports or shipyard construction or maintenance. At least 5 years in a management role. **Other equivalent experience will be considered**:
- Experience developing and leading team. Experience managing remote teams especially internationally will be highly regarded
- Strong administration and administration management skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects / contracts to time and budget constraints
- A track record showing an ability to review and improve business processes
- Extensive experience dealing with clients especially under time pressure
- Excellent written communications
Note that some international travel will be part of this role.
