Guardian Facilities and Property Management Pty ltd – Traralgon VIC
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Guardian Facilities and Property Management Pty ltd, primarily based on a contract in Traralgon, VIC ****. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for coordinating the maintenance and upkeep of our clients' commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and operating efficiently.
What you'll be doing
Scheduling and overseeing the completion of routine maintenance tasks, such as planned maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure the timely completion of work in a safe manner.
Monitoring and reporting on the condition of facilities, identifying and addressing any issues or areas for improvement.
Ensuring all contractors, trades, staff and on-site visitors meet strict safety policy and procedures.
Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to the facilities management process including monthly invoicing and reporting.
Providing support and guidance to clients on-site personnel, as needed.
Being present and monitoring high-risk works on client sites.
What we're looking for
Proven experience in a facilities or property management role, preferably within the commercial sector.
Minimum 1-2 years of facilities or property management experience required.
Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.
A good understanding of health and safety, building systems, maintenance procedures, and relevant regulations.
Practical experience in building systems and maintenance procedures is essential.
Proficiency in using facilities management software and other relevant tools.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in facilities management, building maintenance, OH&S, or a related field would be an advantage.
Australian work authorisation is required for this position.
