Note: This role is in the Department of Families, Seniors, Disability Services and Child Safety due to recent Machinery of Government changes. Please refer to the attached role profile for an accurate description of the role and team.
The department has established a Reform Implementation Office to deliver the Queensland Government's reform priorities, focusing on areas such as domestic and family violence prevention, elder abuse, and disability services, using modern, evidence-based methods and enterprise-wide systems reform.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Leading a team to improve the speed and effectiveness of high-priority project and program implementation.
2. Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability.
3. Supporting stakeholders to overcome obstacles, break down silos, and consider system-wide interdependencies.
4. Providing strategic advice to senior executives on delivery challenges and opportunities.
5. Standardizing delivery methodologies to enhance implementation reliability and pace.
6. Negotiating with government stakeholders to challenge existing perspectives and foster innovative approaches.
This role is temporary until 30 June 2026 with a possibility of extension.
