Our client is a well-established agribusiness supplying technical solutions and services to the dairy industry across Australia, New Zealand and the wider South East Asia and Oceania region. The business works closely with its sales teams, distribution partners and customers to develop and grow market opportunities. They are now seeking a Market Area Solution Manager to support product portfolio performance and market development across the region.
Role & Responsibilities
This role sits within the Market Development and Sales Support function and focuses on supporting product portfolio performance, market development and sales enablement. The successful candidate will:
• Support management of product portfolios within the market area to realise market potential.
• Build product capability across internal staff, dealers and customers.
• Assist in developing sales and business growth through strong internal and external relationships.
• Contribute to pricing, product positioning, promotions and communications activities.
• Support delivery of agreed marketing initiatives and the annual marketing calendar.
Requirements
• Relevant tertiary qualification in agriculture or animal science (postgraduate preferred).
• Experience in product management, solutions management, market development or sales support roles.
• Sound understanding of dairy farming systems, including technical and animal welfare considerations (preferred).
• Sales and marketing mindset with the ability to support commercial outcomes.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and presentation skills.
• Ability to work across functions and within a small, collaborative team.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Remuneration and Location
• Competitive remuneration package, commensurate with experience.
• Location: Hamilton, New Zealand or Melbourne, Australia.
• Regional travel required as part of the role.
