To provide general administrative support to other areas within Revenue Services including Receipting, Special Rates and Charges and Accounts Receivable.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Ensure all requests for information and enquiries are provided in a timely, effective and courteous manner.
- Prepare and process property ownership changes and change of name and address requests.
- Maintenance of the rates master file and Name and Address Register including creation of current name and address records as required.
- Maintain voter eligibility codes as required.
- Assist in end of month and end of financial year rates tasks.
- Follow up outstanding debts to delegated level of Authority.
**Requirements and Qualifications**:
- Ability to engage with a diverse range of customers, many of whom may be aged, disabled or in financial hardship.
- Accurate and effective administrative, spread sheeting and PC skills with experience using RM8/TRIM.
- Manage and plan the workflow of the position to ensure objectives are met within agreed timeframes.
- Work with minimum supervision and ensure that office systems are maintained in a timely and accurate manner.
- Previous Rates or Accounts experience using a computerised system, with knowledge and skills obtained through on the job training is preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service and debt collection is required.
- A secondary level of education, preferably to year 12 level, completion of a post-secondary qualification below diploma and skills obtained through on-the-job training commensurate with the requirements of the work.
- A sound knowledge of administrative systems within a service environment.
