Remuneration
Base salary ranges from $101,122 to $160,983 per annum, plus leave loading and employer superannuation contribution. Total package up to $182,461. One‐off recruitment bonus of $20,000 (pro‐rata for part‐time).
About the Role
School counsellor providing counselling and psychological assessment of students, collaborating with teachers, school communities and outside agencies. Works with primary and high‐school aged students; supports individual student wellbeing and learning outcomes. Provides professional supervision, group supervision, and engages in continuous professional development and registration maintenance.
Responsibilities
* Provide counselling and psychological assessment of students.
* Develop case formulations and write reports.
* Collaborate with teachers, families, school community and external agencies to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes.
* Engage in regular individual and group supervision and peer supervision.
* Participate in continuing professional development and maintain registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered or provisionally registered psychologist, or eligible for registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Experience in evidence‐based counselling interventions for children and young people.
* Experience in psychological assessment of children and young people, including case formulation and report writing.
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes.
* Valid unrestricted provisional or full driver's licence and willingness to travel between worksites.
* Unconditional full teacher approval, or eligibility to apply for approval to teach; position falls under Teachers award.
