Manage the seamless transition of assets, systems, and documentation between project phases or operational teams.
This role is critical in ensuring the successful transition (Handover Takeover) of systems and assets from construction and commissioning phases to operational readiness, in full compliance with project standards, regulatory requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the delivery of handover packages within the Defence Division.
- Track and allocate projects to ensure sufficient national resource coverage by effectively engaging with key stakeholders.
- Support and assist project teams with issues needing escalation by co-ordinating with Subject Matter Experts (SME) throughout the business
- Develop processes and tools for continual improvement and to ensure a consistent approach
- Identify training needs and provide training for onboarding
- Seek and act on feedback from project stakeholders
- Provide tender support including document preparation and identifying resource requirements
- Provide technical support for national HOTO delivery
- Monitor DEQMS for updates, reviewing updates and communicating changes to internal HOTO stakeholders accordingly.
About You
- Prior Defence experience, specifically managing HOTO on multiple live projects
- 3+ years construction / engineering experience
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
- Police Clearance
