About The Role
National Conference Coordinator – Based in Sydney (temporary, 3‐month contract). Responsible for executing Northrop's 50th Festival, a flagship national conference and milestone celebration event held on August 14 in Sydney. The role works closely with the Senior Operations Project Manager to deliver an end‐to‐end event experience covering program, logistics, and attendee engagement. Availability: immediate.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate event logistics across venues, suppliers, AV, catering and setup.
* Manage timelines, run sheets and event documentation.
* Liaise with internal teams, vendors and speakers to ensure alignment.
* Track deliverables, budgets and operational readiness.
* Support registrations, attendee communications and travel logistics.
* Assist with program delivery, including speaker coordination and rehearsals.
* Contribute to event communications, branding and collateral execution.
* Troubleshoot issues and manage risks as they arise.
* Support on‐day delivery, including bump‐in/out and front‐of‐house operations.
* Ensure a seamless and high‐quality attendee experience across all touchpoints.
Qualifications

* Proven experience delivering large‐scale corporate conference events.

* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

* Flexible, adaptable, and able to deal with change.
* Proactive mindset – asks questions, follows up and takes ownership.
* Experience delivering corporate milestone celebrations or internal conferences highly desirable.
* Confidence in using MS365 and Canva.
