Due to continued growth, we are expanding our South Australian installation team and are seeking experienced aluminium window and door installation subcontractors for ongoing commercial and residential work.
About the Opportunity
This opportunity involves a subcontractor to install aluminium windows, doors, and framing systems across commercial and residential projects, including sliders, fixed panels, hardware, sub-sills, and sub-heads. The subcontractor will follow detailed shop drawings and project specifications, ensuring all work meets G.James' high-quality standards, specified tolerances, and site requirements. They will coordinate closely with site supervisors, builders, and project managers while maintaining a clean, safe, and organised worksite, fully complying with G.James' quality assurance and safety procedures.
The ideal subcontractor will have proven experience in commercial or architectural aluminium window and door installation (minimum 2-3 years preferred), strong knowledge of tools and commercial glazing systems, a high level of workmanship, reliability, and attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Minimum requirements
* A current White Card
* A valid Australian driver's license
* A current ABN that is registered for GST
* Be able to provide SWIM's and a Safety Management Plan
* Public Liability Insurance min $5M cover
* Workers Compensation cover
* Personal Accident Insurance
* Your own tools and reliable transport (subcontractors)
