Job Title: Early Childhood Educator
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced early childhood educator to join our team at Central Australian Aboriginal Congress in Alice Springs, NT.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement educational programs for vulnerable children using the Abecedarian approach to early childhood development
* Work with children aged 0-5 years in an early years setting
* Develop and maintain relationships with children, families, and communities
* Provide high-quality education and care that promotes the overall well-being of children
* Collaborate with other educators and support staff to achieve program goals
* Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Requirements:
* Certificate III or Diploma in children's services or equivalent recognized by ACECQA
* Knowledge of the Abecedarian approach to early childhood development
* Experience working with designing educational programs for vulnerable children
* Current NT Working with Children card (Ochre card)
* Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance if successful for the position
* Vaccinated for COVID-19 or willing to be vaccinated as a condition of employment
Working Conditions:
* Full-time position
* Based in Alice Springs, NT
* Will involve working with children and families from diverse backgrounds
