Our diverse Services business provides 24/7 servicing for hospitals, utilities, data centers, support for the resources sector and just about everything in‑between.
Our Schneider Electric portfolio covers UPS, critical cooling equipment, LV/MV switchgear, transformers, substation monitoring as well as a wide range of ancillary equipment.
We enable owners, end users and custodians to minimise breakdowns, increase reliability, efficiency and safety while reducing costs and simplifying operations.
We are currently seeking a Consulting Engineer to join our growing Services team.

Reporting to the Services Consulting Engineering Leader, you will get the opportunity to utilise your background as you collaborate with our wider stakeholder groups to fuel the ongoing growth that our Services business is currently experiencing.
Responsibilities Responsible for advising in the preparation of quotations/tender submissions, sales support and project delivery covering the full range of Services Consulting Offers.
Playing a hands‑on role in relation to Install Base Lifecycle Assessments/Audits, Power Systems Analysis, Digital Twins, Power Quality Audits, Power Monitoring – Energy Efficiency and Decarbonisation Audits, Industrial Automation Audits, Eco Consult Data Center and other ad‑hoc Customer requirements.
Effectively managing Services Consulting projects and deliver on time and in budget.
Identifying and understanding Customer pain points to accurately provide a consultative based solution.
Reviewing Customer RFQs, specifications and tender specifications for Services Consulting activities.
Identifying cost effective solutions to meet Customer needs and technical requirements (both explicit and implied).
Collaborating with both domestic and international stakeholders within a growing area of our operations in markets that are full of opportunity.
Providing front‑end sales support to Business Development teams when pitching and developing Services Consulting opportunities, as well as identifying and generating pull‑through opportunities to grow our pipeline.
Supporting and facilitating the booking of Purchase Orders and Contracts in SAP.
Domestic travel when required.
Ideal Candidate Tertiary Engineering qualifications in Electrical or Electronics coupled with CPEng status (or on the pathway to obtain).
Previous experience in a similar Consulting role coupled with a knowledge of relevant technical products, Schneider Electric Offerings and/or Competitor Products/Solutions.
Proficient in the use of Power Systems analytical tools such as ETAP, PSSE, ERACS, DIg Silent, SKM, IPSA and PSCAD.
Proven experience in completing Site Audits, Power System studies and interacting with varied Customers and End Users in producing detailed Reports and specialist recommendations.
Background in the Electrical industry and/or with specific knowledge or experience will be viewed favourably (Power Quality, Power Systems, Digital Twin, ETAP, Energy Management etc.).
