Operations Manager - Federal Government - CANBERRA, MELBOURNE OR SYDNEY
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to join our team in Canberra, Melbourne or Sydney, overseeing Federal Government SAP Customers. This role will suit an individual with excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to liaise at all levels, and outstanding organisational skills. Suitable candidates must hold a minimum NV1 Clearance.
Key Responsibilities
* Works across functional and technical teams to be the single service owner responsible for meeting service contractual SLAs
* Help coordinate system upgrades, patches, and enhancements in collaboration with FPES sustainment team and vendors
* Promotes awareness of critical infrastructure, applications, and most stringent contractual targets so Functional and Technical Leads can deliver great service, meet SLAs, avoid service credits/penalties and meet the operational obligations aligned with the agreed security policies
* Prioritization and resolution of incidents & problems, and reporting
* Participates in account reviews as requested by the Account Executive
* Leads or attends operations service reviews and meetings
* Works with the DXC Governance and Compliance team to provide assurance and compliance requirements as defined in the contract and company policies, verifying these requirements are successfully established and maintained for the account
* Assists with demand forecasting and capacity management
* Manages operational change and maintains effective operational controls and client governance
* Assists in leading service improvement plans if required whilst driving standardisation of ITIL processes across the account
* Help drive the team to maintain system documentation, workflows, and user procedures
* Assist with producing the weekly and monthly report for the client
* Manage the day-to-day operations
* Provide available 24/7 support (when required)
Key Skills or Experience Required
* ITSM - IT Service Management
* ITIL - Information Technology Infrastructure Library
* SIAM - Service Integration and Management
* PMO experience
* DevOps / Agile experience advantageous
* Incident Management Experience
