Day Shift: $50/Hr + Super + Overtime (5am - 3pm) Looking to secure a stable role with excellent earning potential? We're partnering with a global leader in sustainable packaging solutions to recruit an experienced Maintenance Fitter for their Hemmant facility.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Maintenance Fitter, you'll be vital to ensuring the smooth operation of site equipment. You'll carry out preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and play an important role in improving plant performance.
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance across a variety of production machinery.
- Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively to reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults.
- Maintain stock of spare parts and fabricate components when needed.
- Keep accurate maintenance records in MEX or similar CMMS systems.
What We're Looking For
- Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering - Fitting/Machining.
- At least 3 years of hands on experience in manufacturing, FMCG or heavy industry.
- Robust problem solving skills and a proactive, safety first mindset.
- Own vehicle, tools, and a current driver's licence.
