We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for the role of Track Renewals Capital Maintenance Coordinator, to join the Track Renewals Team on an ongoing assignment.
Reporting to the Track Renewals Supervisor, the successful candidate's key role accountabilities include:
Capital Maintenance (CAPM) Track Renewals Coordinator are responsible for large scale maintenance works, included but not limited to

Role Responsibilities
Ensuring behaviour aligns with the BHP Charter Values, the BHP Group Level Documents, Code of Conduct and relevant statutory obligations.
An overriding commitment to health, safety, and environment within Rail.
Develop and sustain a strong safety and collaborative culture in the track renewals team.
Supervise and manage the safe execution of track renewals work banks.
Developing and implementing track renewals methodologies in accordance with BHP procedures and industry best practice and standards.
Provide input into the planning of track renewals shutdowns including design reviews, staging plans, Gantt schedule, resourcing tables, and structure of the teams to enable safe and efficient execution of works.
Leading the Track Renewals Capital Maintenance team including direct management of 3 x Contracting teams.
Supervision of contractor and sub-contractor groups during execution of works to ensure all technical and quality standards are achieved safely. Maintaining accurate records of the various contractor's personnel and equipment on site to enable accurate reports.
Perform site safety functions including field leadership schedule is in place and completed, reviewing, and signing Task Based Risk Assessments (JHA), participating in on-site safety meetings and actioning findings identified through safety audits in a timely manner.
Single point of accountability at worksites under your supervision including management of events (hazards, near miss or actuals).
Prompt completion of supporting and reporting documentation and 1SAP work management.
Confirm works are constructed to contractual requirements and timelines including adherence to RFQ/SOW and authorising of ITPs.
Prepare permits and communication packages including (permit to work, General Alerts, Traffic Control Plans, excavation permits).
Contributing to Continuous Improvement in Rail Network Maintenance.
Strong commitment to the Field Leadership.
Skills
Experience leading execution work groups (Track execution works desirable).
Strong safety and risk management skills.
Process driven with the ability to identify issues and coordinate problem solving.
Ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience in 1SAP Work Management.
An energetic and enthusiastic approach to work, with a drive to develop and learn.
Ability to problem solve and react to unplanned situations in a controlled manner.
A teamwork mentality to achieve results.
