Position: Retail Manager
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus 12% Superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week

Mogas Lameroo is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of its fuel station and convenience retail store. This position is ideal for a highly organised and customer-focused professional with strong leadership skills and experience in retail, fuel, or convenience store operations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining excellent customer service standards, managing staff performance, and supporting the ongoing growth and profitability of the business.
Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
* Manage the overall daily operations of the service station and retail store to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction
* Monitor fuel and retail stock levels, coordinate supplier orders, and oversee inventory control and stock rotation procedures
* Implement pricing, promotional, and merchandising strategies to maximise sales and profitability
* Deliver exceptional customer service and professionally handle customer enquiries and complaints
* Supervise, train, and support retail staff to maintain productivity, professionalism, and operational efficiency
* Prepare staff rosters and manage staffing requirements in line with operational demands
* Maintain accurate records relating to sales, fuel transactions, stock movement, and financial reporting
* Assist with budgeting, expense control, and cash handling procedures to support business profitability
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations, fuel handling procedures, and company policies
* Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and safety standards throughout the retail store and forecourt areas
* Monitor store performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and customer experience
* Support local marketing and promotional initiatives to strengthen community engagement and business growth
Qualifications:
• Tertiary qualification in Retail Management, Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred but not mandatory
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in retail management, convenience store operations, or fuel station management
