As a Trainee Surveillance Operator reporting directly to the Surveillance Duty Manager, this role offers an extraordinary opportunity to establish overall property control, safety & security whilst protecting the assets and maintaining gaming integrity.
This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for Surveillance.
A few of your responsibilities:
Investigate and Report on activities that potentially pose a threat to the integrity of the operations and casino statutory obligations
Review CCTV footage to resolve all gaming inquiries and disputes from internal and external customers
Monitor alarm systems and coordinatean appropriate response via communications systems to relevant operational departments and emergency services
Maintain a high level of job knowledge relating to CCTV, gaming, security, alarm systems and other job-related systems
Monitor and Report on all critical incidents across The Star complex
What we are looking for:
Willing and available to start late January ****
Availability to work a rotating roster (12hr shifts), including weekends & public holidays
Excellent keyboard typing proficiency & computer skills
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
Casino gaming experience preferred but not essential
Attention to detail with good focus & concentration ability

You will have a great eye for detail with hands-on problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment using multiple systems.
