Nursing Unit Manager
A senior nursing leadership position available for a dedicated and experienced Nurse Leader to oversee high-quality, person-centred care on our Harrison Ward. This pivotal role involves mentoring and guiding a team of highly skilled nurses while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to foster an environment that promotes excellence in clinical practice, professional development, and innovative patient care.
----------------------------------- About the Role
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Nurse Unit Manager or Team Leader with acting NUM experience. Postgraduate qualification in Leadership or Management is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of clinical knowledge with a minimum of two years of post-graduate experience, ideally within a Medical/Surgical field. They will be committed to process improvement and quality care, with a strong understanding of the National Standards. Excellent interpersonal skills, an authentic and respectful communication style, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and senior executives are also essential.
