Position Overview
Kununurra Country Club Resort is seeking passionate and experienced kitchen professionals to join their culinary team in the heart of the Kimberley region, Northern Territory. We have 3 exciting opportunities available:
* 2 x Chefs/Cooks
Located in stunning Kununurra, this casual position offers competitive pay rates, accommodation options, and the unique opportunity to work in one of Australia's most spectacular outback destinations.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook menu items according to resort standards
* Maintain food quality and presentation consistency
* Ensure kitchen hygiene and food safety compliance
* Work efficiently during busy service periods
* Collaborate with kitchen team members
* Assist with stock control and ordering
* Follow recipes and portioning guidelines
* Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and facilities
* Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
* Assist chefs with food preparation tasks
* Ensure proper storage of kitchen supplies
* Support kitchen operations during service
* Maintain health and safety standards
* Perform cleaning duties as required
Requirements
* Physical fitness: Must be strong and able to handle physical tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in hot environments
* Working Holiday Visa with minimum 6 months remaining validity
* Right to work in Australia
