Talent International, a leading Australian recruitment firm, have been engaged by our long standing client, a leading industrial infrastructure organisation. We are seeking a Senior Civil / Structural Project Engineer to support the delivery of major infrastructure upgrades within a large operational facility based in Port Kembla.
This role will focus on engineering coordination, concept development and the delivery of civil/structural engineering work packages within a large brownfield environment.
Role Title: Senior Civil / Structural Project Engineer
Contract Length: Initial 12 month contract (highly likely to extend)
Location : Port Kembla
Daily Pay: $110-$140 per hour
Client Industry: Heavy Industrial / Infrastructure
Start Date: ASAP
Role Details:
* Deliver civil and structural engineering activities across assigned work packages
* Develop engineering concepts and coordinate design with drafting and engineering teams
* Conduct engineering investigations, inspections and analysis of plant infrastructure
* Manage and review engineering consultant deliverables
* Work closely with construction teams to ensure designs are practical and buildable
* Support delivery of engineering packages to scope, schedule and budget
* Participate in engineering safety and risk workshops (HAZOP, CHAIR etc.)Required Skills and Experiences:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Experience delivering engineering packages across major infrastructure, industrial or capital projects
* Experience working within brownfield or heavy industrial environments
* Strong understanding of Australian engineering standards
* Experience coordinating engineering consultants and multidisciplinary teams
* Exposure to engineering tools such as Inventor, AutoCAD, Space Gass, Sidewinder, Ansys, Powercad or similarAdditional Details & Benefits:
