Our client is a leading residential framing manufacturing and installation business supporting builders across South East Queensland. With strong demand and continued growth, the business is investing in senior operational leadership to bring discipline, predictability and accountability to its onsite delivery model.
We are now seeking a Construction Operations Manager to take full ownership of installation and site performance across a multi-site residential framing operation.
This is a senior leadership role with genuine autonomy allowing you to take ownership and drive success for the business in this newly created position.
The Role:
You will own the end-to-end onsite performance of the installation operation, leading supervisors, schedulers, maintenance carpenters and subcontract installation teams across multiple residential sites.
* Create and oversee planning and delivery schedules for supervisors and sub-contractors.
* Define and implement clear standards for safety, quality and site documentation processes.
* Implement new defect prevention and continuous improvement process across sites.
* Delivery & Subcontractor performance, labour allocation and cost control
* Oversee end-to-end installation delivery and site performance working closely with the Site Managers
* Take the lead on safety performance and WHS compliance
About You:
You are an experienced Construction Manager or Site Manager looking to progress their career. You will have strong framing (steel or timber) knowledge and lead from the front with high-standards and processes at the heart of everything you do.
* Strong understanding of framing, construction programming and sequencing, and compliance obligations
* Confident in overseeing Supervisors and Subcontractors
* Experienced in managing labour and costs, ensuring budgets are met and schedules are adhered to
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with key stakeholders
