Lead Systems Technicians are integral to the delivery of innovative security and smart automation solutions in homes and businesses. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing integrated systems, including burglar alarms, access control, and video solutions.
* Main Responsibilities:
* System Installation and Servicing: Our Lead Systems Technicians install and/or service various types of integrated systems, including burglar alarms, card access, video, and fire alarm systems. This requires a strong technical aptitude and attention to detail to ensure seamless integration with local jurisdiction requirements.
* Troubleshooting and System Analysis: Troubleshoot integrated systems in high-end residential and commercial applications using advanced problem-solving skills and logical thinking. Demonstrate proficiency and understanding of software and programming for primary manufacturers used by our team.
* Project Design and Deployment: Assist in design and deployment of projects in concert with local and state building codes, ensuring compliance and efficiency. Communicate effectively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.
* Training and Mentorship: Train and mentor junior technicians on shared job sites, providing guidance and feedback to improve performance and drive growth within the team.
Key Requirements:
* Education and Experience: We require a minimum of 5 years of industry experience in Fire detection and signaling systems, with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Certification and Licensing: State licensing (FASA/BASA) is mandatory; ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or NICET Fire or Video Level 2 certification is preferred.
* Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are essential to provide superior customer service and collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.
