About the role We have an exciting and rewarded support opportunity to share with you. Located in Bowral, you will be part of a care team to support a female with phsycial supports following a road traffic accident. An extensive onboarding program will be provided with buddy shifts to help you with your transition.
Your key responsibilities
Our team is looking for a dedicated and passionate Disability Support Worker who can undertake the following key responsibilities:
* Manual Handling
* Assistance with Daily Living
* Assistance in Community Participation
* Meal preparation
* Domestic cleaning assistance
About you
To join the team, we are looking for the following skills and experience:
* Certificate III in Individual Support or above (relevant care certificates may also be considered)
* Experience with Brain Injuries and Epilepsy
* Specific Disability / Complex Care experience (minimum 2 years experience)
* Manual handling certificate and experience
* Current First aid and CPR
* Yellow Card/NDIS Worker's Screening Check
* NDIS Orientation Module
* English Fluency - verbal and written
* NSW Full Driver Licence and Car Insurance
