Disaster Preparedness Educator
Pillowcase Workshop Facilitator Volunteer
The Pillowcase Workshops are school-based disaster preparedness sessions for students aged 8-10. These workshops aim to build their knowledge and capacity in disaster preparedness as part of Red Cross's broader emergency preparedness, response, and recovery programs.
The Opportunity
You will join a network of volunteers conducting one-hour sessions in schools where children learn about disaster preparedness through an interactive activity decorating a pillowcase.
This role offers a chance to make a meaningful difference in your community by helping individuals, families, and communities recover more effectively from emergencies.
