* Ongoing Full-Time & Temporary Full-Time Opportunities
* Location: Dubbo & Tamworth
* A talent pool may be created through this recruitment process to fill anticipated vacancies over the next 18 months for locations (however not limited to only these locations: Armidale, Bathurst, Broken Hill & Parramatta.)
* Competitive remuneration ranging from $129,464 to $142,665 plus super & annual leave loading.

Join the NSW Department of Education as an ICT Field Services Team Leader and lead a team of ICT support professionals to deliver high-quality ICT services to NSW public schools and Departmental offices.

You'll ensure consistent, standardised support aligned to departmental policies, best-practice operating procedures, and the Department's ICT priorities.

As the ICT Field Services Team Leader, you will oversee day-to-day ICT service delivery, build strong partnerships with school and stakeholder leaders, and provide expert technical guidance—helping schools to use technology effectively for teaching, learning, and administration.

About you

* Proven experience leading or coordinating ICT support services in a customer-facing environment.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of ICT capability levels.
* Sound technical knowledge and the ability to guide technology evaluation and adoption.
* Leadership capability to coach teams, drive performance, and maintain service quality at scale.
* Ability to manage travel and support delivery across multiple sites.
* Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

* A valid NSW Working with Children Check for paid employment.
* Current and valid Driver's Licence
* Willingness and ability to undertake short-term travel across but not limited to the assigned area of responsibility.
* Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
