Caretaker
A new opportunity has come available for an experienced caretaker to join ARRCS on a permanent, full‐time basis. This role attracts a salary of $47.38 - $50.99 / hour dependent on previous skills and experience, and includes furnished housing.
This role involves day‐to‐day upkeep, maintenance and general operations of staff accommodation. It ensures all buildings, grounds and equipment are well maintained through appropriate use, regular cleaning and repairs. The caretaker supports ARRCS in ensuring staff accommodation is compliant and safe.
Qualifications and Experience
* Familiarity with management of building utilities including lighting, heat and water systems.
* Prior experience in management and maintenance of shared living spaces and amenities.
* Prior experience in management of accommodation and general support with staff residents.
* Ability to identify and report issues and record and log appropriately.
* Prior experience in maintaining logs, incident reports and compliance documentation.
* Clear, professional communication skills with residents, staff, management and external contractors.
* Ability to work independently and proactively identify issues before they arise.
* Comfortable working in an aged care environment and interaction with elderly residents.

Mandatory Compliance
