Senior Distribution Specialist (1 year contract)
We are seeking a skilled Senior Distribution Specialist to join our team for a 1-year contract. This role will be based in Sydney and involves managing the distribution of products across Australia and New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee Distribution Centre Operations:
o Ensure performance metrics meet service level agreements and adhere to LEGO Group standards.
o Monitor storage, inbound/outbound efficiencies, and on-time-in-full (OTIF) metrics.
o Optimize inbound-outbound logistics to manage capacity requirements.
o Track and manage damaged goods, quality stocks, scrap, and support claims process.
* Procurement of 3PL Service and Cost Management:
o Ensure cost-effective operations and distribution spend within budget.
* Customer Service:
o Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through accurate order processing, timely deliveries, and effective communication.
o Collaborate with Customer-Logistics team to handle valuable services for customers in the NZ SBU.
About Us
The APAC & China Distribution team is responsible for bringing products from manufacturing sites to shoppers and children. As a Senior Distribution Specialist, you will report directly to the Senior Distribution Director.
Requirements
* Solid supply chain/distribution experience in FMCG industry, managing 3PLs.
* Proven track record of delivering results through teamwork and collaboration, with strong communication and leadership skills.
* Demonstrated experience in managing stakeholders, working in a diverse and multi-functional environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills, experienced in mining insights from various data sources, and strong presentation skills.
* LEAN, agile, or scrum experience is an added advantage.
