The role
This is not a "press send on a few EDMs and call it a day" situation. You'll be running full-scale, integrated campaigns across a portfolio of major B2B events. You'll own it from strategy through to execution, and you'll actually see the results in real time. Registrations going up. Rooms filling. Campaigns landing. No two weeks look the same. You'll be planning, executing, reviewing performance, working with sales and event teams, briefing creative, solving problems and constantly looking for ways to drive better results. If you like being close to the action and having your work actually drive outcomes, this is your lane.
What you'll be doing
You're across the whole journey, not just one piece of it. You'll be building campaigns that make people actually want to show up, running multi-channel activity across email, digital, social, content and partnerships, owning messaging, positioning and campaign direction, driving audience growth and database expansion, working closely with sales to support exhibitor demand and lead gen, collaborating with agencies, partners and internal teams to bring campaigns to life. And you'll be staying close to the numbers, tracking performance and optimising as you go, showing up at live events and seeing your work in action, and leading and supporting a Marketing Coordinator day-to-day, lifting capability and keeping momentum across a busy portfolio.
About you
You don't need hand-holding. You like being trusted. You like moving quickly. You like seeing outcomes. You also don't sit back and wait to be told what to do. You take ownership, you think ahead and you're comfortable challenging ideas when needed. You'll probably bring experience in events, exhibitions or fast-paced B2B marketing, strong digital skills across email, social and web, a commercial and data-led mindset where you don't just run campaigns, you improve them, confidence working across both strategy and execution, strong communication skills where you can work a room and a Slack channel, and energy, ownership and a "I'll figure it out" mindset. Bonus points if you've been part of a scaling team and frothed it.
