We'remitted to empowering our members to achieve their financial goals. As a leading player in the industry, we're seeking a dynamic and visionary Senior Product Manager to lead our Investments portfolio.
As the Senior Product Manager - Investments, you will play a leading role in the development, management, and delivery of Hostplus' investment product strategy and investment choice architecture. This position will be responsible for identifying, developing and leveraging Hostplus' distinct attributes,petitive advantages, capabilities, and nous to ensure Hostplus' members enjoy innovative, market-leading and highlypetitive investment solutions in line with the Fund's vision and strategy.
With support from Head of Product Strategy, this role will also manage Hostplus' Defined Benefit product strategy.
Please note: While the preferred location of this role is our Trustee office in Melbourne, we are open to considering this also being a Sydney, Adelaide or Brisbane based role.
What you'll do:
You will have responsibility for developing, implementing and managing Hostplus' investment choice architecture and supporting management of the defined benefit product strategy, therefore the following skills and knowledge will be essential:
1. Strategic Vision: You'll be the driving force behind our investment product strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute a roadmap that aligns with our business objectives.
2. Product Development: Dive deep into market research, customer needs, and regulatory requirements to create innovative investment solutions.
3. Lifecycle Management: From ideation to launch, you'll oversee the entire product lifecycle, while ensuring that it continues to meet members and Hostplus' needs and objectives.
4. Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with our investment team, actuaries, legal experts, and external partners. Your ability to build strong relationships will be crucial in delivering exceptional results.
5. Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with investment and defined benefit products. Ensurepliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
6. Performance Metrics: Define KPIs and track product performance. Continuously optimize and enhance our offerings.
About you:
7. Knowledge of the superannuation and wealth management industries, including extensive understanding of investment strategy, and product strategy functions;
8. Prior applied experience in developing investment product strategies and roadmaps;
9. Passion for staying abreast of industry trends and market dynamics, particularly as it relates to investment products and defined benefits;
10. Tertiary degree in business, finance,merce, or related discipline;
11. RG 146pliant;
12. A proven ability to operate collaboratively in a dynamic team-based environment yet work independently as required;
13. Superior planning & organising skills, advanced research, analytical and forecasting skills; and
14. Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the funds management or the broader financial services industry.
