Now, we're looking for a Business Development Manager to help us take Locale to the next level.
The role
As Business Development Manager, you'll be at the forefront of Locale's growth story. You'll foster partnerships and collaborations that expand our reach and position Locale as Australia's most recommended and trusted strategic partner in the new build and property investment space.
This is a role for a connector – someone who builds genuine relationships, spots opportunities, and brings people together to create value. You'll work across industries, connecting with finance brokers, accountants, real estate agents, FIFO communities, developers, wedding companies, car loan companies, and other strategic partners who align with Locale's mission.
You'll also work closely with the heads of each business unit to set strategic growth plans that drive relationships, revenue, and customer satisfaction across all areas of the group.
Your focus: to share our story, amplify our impact, and turn partnership conversations into long-term growth opportunities.
What you'll be doing
Partnership development: build and nurture relationships with key strategic partners to create mutually beneficial growth opportunities.
Strategic expansion: identify new industries, networks and communities that align with Locale's vision and can expand our reach.
Brand advocacy: champion the Locale story, values and purpose through meetings, events, presentations and industry collaborations.
Referral and collaboration systems: design and implement scalable partnership and referral frameworks that drive consistent lead flow and engagement.
Collaboration with internal teams: work closely with sales, marketing and leadership to align on strategy, campaigns and initiatives.
Work with heads of business units: collaborate to develop and execute strategic growth plans that strengthen relationships, drive revenue, and enhance customer experience across Locale Homes, Locale Wealth, and Locale Financial.
Growth and performance tracking: monitor partnership outcomes, measure ROI and provide insights to guide future growth initiatives.
About you
* Proven experience in business development, partnerships, or relationship management, ideally within property, finance or related industries.
