As part of our Sydney Operations team, you’ll help manage our growing portfolio of thoughtfully designed properties, supporting daily operations and taking on a variety of field-based tasks that keep things running smoothly.This is a fantastic first step into Urban Rest, with plenty of room to grow. We’ll provide full on-the-job training, and you'll be surrounded by a supportive team. If you're someone who brings a can-do attitude, enjoys variety in your day, and is keen to learn - we’d love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesOperationsReporting to the Operations Manager to complete daily tasks across our portfolio of propertiesMonitor operational / ticketing systems to ensure all on-site tasks are assigned and completed within specified timeframes and deadlinesContractor Management - Organising and managing external parties for repair works on siteQuality check property standards - ensuring misses, problems or potential impacts on guest experience is mitigated and corrective actions taken prior to the guests arrivalEnsure applicable checklist for cleans and/or inspection(s) are adequately completed and recorded in the appropriate systemWorking alongside the greater Operations team to assist and support business requirements, including supporting projects to improve operational efficiency and guest experienceAssist the operations team and 3rd party suppliers with onsite management of warehouse/supplies, including performing stock audits, maintaining inventory levels and ordering suppliesMaintenanceConduct basic maintenance tasks using hand tools such as assembling furniture, hanging artwork and minor ad-hoc jobsCarry out regular property inspections/audits ensuring our properties are operating and performing their bestReporting any issues within our properties and ensuring they are dealt with promptlySource parts/materials and maintain inventory levelsTravel to various buildings/cities as requiredLiaise with external contractors, stakeholders, property managers and clients.Perform other duties as assignedWhat We Look ForMust HaveA proven track record of prioritising tasks in order to meet tight deadlines- you will be working independently 70% of the time and therefore must be skilled in managing your own timeExcellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to identify and convey critical information to your Operations ManagerAbility to take the initiative and problem solve independentlyProfessional demeanour and strong ability to establish positive relationships with othersA willingness and enthusiasm to get your hands dirty and help the team out in any way possibleMust have a flexible schedule and open to working some weekends as business requiresAbility to delegate tasks effectively and leverage team efforts - reporting back concisely and regularly with the Operations Manager and Quality Assurance ManagerNice to HaveA background in construction, hospitality, residential or operations preferred but not requiredPrevious experience in a coordinator/administration role working in the property/facilities/construction/maintenance field(s)Motivated to adopt new and emerging technologiesKnowledgeable with Google SuiteHow To ApplyAt Urban Rest, we extend our invitation to candidates from Indigenous, neurodiverse, disabled, international, and diverse cultural backgrounds.
