Role Overview
Surgical Account Professionals play a pivotal role in driving business growth and delivering exceptional customer service across NSW & ACT.
To achieve sales targets, Surgical Account Managers will provide industry-leading support and training aligned with strategic objectives. Building and maintaining strong relationships with professional providers is crucial to the role's success.
Account Managers will work collaboratively with colleagues and cross-functionally with corporate teams to develop business plans designed to grow new and existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Acumen: identifying opportunities with new and existing customers, demonstrating relationship building skills with surgical partners and credibility with key accounts.
* Business Acumen: utilizing sales reports, forecast templates, and financial analysis for planning purposes, and demonstrating in-depth knowledge of business tools such as Salesforce, contracting, etc.
* Surgical Support: maintaining product knowledge of Cochlear's CI and Acoustic internal product offerings to effectively sell and position product features and brand benefits.
* Build and Manage Advocacy Programs: working closely with Clinical Affairs to ensure clinical support and expertise delivery to healthcare providers via CA team.
* Customer Experience/Support: providing surgical support in the operating theatre for Cochlear Implant procedures, especially during start-up phases for new surgeons, staff or hospitals, and ongoing support as necessary.
About You:
To add value to this organization, candidates should demonstrate the following skills and experience: Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or relevant field; experience in medical devices sales, particularly in selling within an operating room environment; territory management experience; professionalism and cultural sensitivity; excellent sales and influencing skills; outstanding communication skills; good understanding of institutional and B2B sales processes along with sound commercial acumen.
