**How will I help?
We have an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal to join the WIB Financial Markets Legal Team.
You will be involved in preparing and negotiating key Financial Markets agreements (in particular, ISDA agreements covering derivatives transactions) and associated activities, including systems updating and reporting. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to a highly sophisticated business, support a premium institutional client base and acquire a sought-after skillset.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Drafting, reviewing, and working with the business to negotiate agreements.
- Updating key bank systems with relevant information and participating in associated risk control and data quality activities.
- Working closely with financial markets lawyers as required.

**What do I need?**
This role would suit a law graduate in the process of becoming qualified as a legal practitioner, an experienced paralegal, or a law student with a degree of professional experience who is looking to develop their drafting and negotiation skills and gain experience in financial services.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to build and sustain key relationships with business partners, WIB Legal colleagues and law firms
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- A self-starter, with initiative to drive matters forward and willingness to learn
- Strong time management skills
- Experience with ISDA negotiations as a Paralegal will be looked upon favourably but is not essential for the role.
- Experience in helping to coordinate a team and/or key business processes will also be looked upon favourably but is not essential.
