The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in carpentry, particularly with custom office fit-outs and high-end joinery, with a focus on delivering tailored solutions in commercial environments. Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Fabricate and install custom wooden elements, including cabinetry, bespoke furniture, and intricate joinery, for both residential and commercial projects, ensuring meticulous craftsmanship in all aspects of cutting, joining, and assembly. Design, construct, and repair wooden structures, office fittings, and frameworks for commercial spaces, adhering to precise client specifications and design requirements. Source, prepare, and select materials for each project, ensuring proper timber choice and accurate layout before installation. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and other materials with specialized tools and machinery, guaranteeing the highest standards of accuracy and finish. Apply protective coatings, such as stains, sealants, and paints, to woodwork, enhancing both durability and aesthetic appeal in line with client expectations and project specifications. Inspect and assess structures for compliance with safety standards and project guidelines, replacing or repairing components as needed to ensure structural integrity and maintain visual quality. Collaborate with colleagues and other trades professionals to meet project deadlines and milestones, ensuring efficient and high-quality completion of all installations and custom work. Qualifications and Skills: Certificate III in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification. At least 1 year of proven experience as a Carpenter. Possess a valid industry standard safety white card.
