We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team of advocates for victims of domestic violence. As a Caseworker for the NSW Domestic Violence Line, you will play a vital role in providing emotional support and practical assistance to those affected by abuse.
About the Role
The NSW Domestic Violence Line is a dedicated 24-hour service that offers confidential telephone counselling and support to victims of domestic violence. Our team of experienced caseworkers works closely with clients to develop personalized safety plans and connect them with local resources.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide crisis telephone counselling and support to victims of domestic violence
* Develop personalized safety plans with clients to minimize risk and promote stability
* Establish partnerships with local organizations to provide comprehensive support services
* Refer clients to specialized domestic violence services as needed, including legal aid, Women's Refuges, and Temporary Accommodation
* Manage administrative tasks and maintain accurate records for client cases
* Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Social Science, or Welfare, along with relevant experience
* Other related degrees considered if candidate can demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience working with vulnerable populations
* Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander candidates require a strong connection to their culture and at least two years' experience working with Aboriginal women, families, and communities
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
* Valid driver's licence (P1 or above)
* Paid Working with Children clearance number
* Minimum two years' experience in a relevant industry setting
