**Your New Opportunity**:
We are seeking a number experienced Plant Operator to join our **Somerton, VIC** team on a **Full Time **basis.
Shifts are available across a 5-day week within a safe and secure team working environment.
**You will have key responsibility in**:
- Sort tyres/recyclable materials according to prescribed criteria
- Operate forklift/bobcat/excavator to move materials for processing, sorting, storing and transporting
- Operate recycling processing equipment including but not limited to crushers, shredders, granulators and sorters to meet or exceed market requirements
- Unload materials from trucks
- Remove contamination from recyclable material
- Load materials into containers
- Maintain production standards
- Monitor equipment operation and report malfunction and other maintenance and repair needs to the Plant Supervisor or Plant Manager
- Carry out basic maintenance tasks
- Maintain inventory records
- Clean plant equipment and work areas
- Perform other duties as per business requirements
- Foster and promote safe working behaviours and display a commitment to Tyrecycle safety standards and OHS requirements at all times
**About you**:
- Current driver's licence
- Previous plant operating experience with current license or the ability to obtain licence for:
- Forklift (required)
- Bob Cat
- HR and HC
- Front End Loader
- Excavator
- Proven commitment to health and safety
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team
- Personal drive and results orientated
