About the Role
We are seeking a Lead Engineer with expertise in PHP to join our team for an initial 3-month contract. The role can be either fully remote from anywhere in Australia or hybrid in Sydney.

Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP development.
* At least 3 years of experience working with JavaScript on the frontend.
* A strong background in software engineering with at least 6 years of experience.
* Experience in addressing CVEs and penetration testing issues.
* Familiarity with Jenkins.
* Consultant experience is desirable.
* The ability to quickly understand large codebases.
* A Computer Science background is essential.
* Exposure to SimpleSAMLphp or similar federated authentication systems.
* Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
* A proactive approach to project success.
* Strong relationship-building skills.
