About the role
We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, values accuracy and compliance, and wants to be part of a supportive team where your work genuinely matters.
Key responsibilities include
* End-to-end payroll processing support
* Managing payroll enquiries and employee records
* Interpreting awards and employment conditions
* Processing leave, timesheets and payroll adjustments
* Ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance
* Assisting with reporting and payroll administration tasks
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within payroll processes

About you
* Previous experience in high-volume payroll processing.
* Strong knowledge of MYOB and confidence using Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
* Knowledge of the human services sector (SCHADS Award) highly regarded.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* A collaborative and solutions-focused approach.
* Hold a Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain.
