Role Purpose
Rockhampton office is seeking an experienced Family/Civil Law Legal Practitioner with a strong interest in social justice. As one of Queensland's largest legal practices, we offer a meaningful opportunity to contribute within a supportive, collaborative environment.
About You
* You must be admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland or hold (or be eligible for immediate acquisition of) a current Practising Certificate and be admitted as a Legal Practitioner or Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Australian High Court.
* You should hold (or be eligible for immediate application) a current Queensland Government Blue Card prior to commencing work.
* You should demonstrate a high level of professional service and capacity across a wide range of Family and Civil Law proceedings (including Child Protection and Domestic Violence applications; and Civil Litigation matters such as Anti-discrimination, Estates, and Consumer Protection).
* Ideally, you will have a minimum of two years full-time experience, resilience in handling complex cases (including Domestic Violence and Child Protection work), and the ability to develop culturally competent service skills.
