Taronga Zoo Dubbo is seeking an energetic Guest Experience Coordinator to help lead the team of Guest experience officers responsible for conducting exclusive tours getting up close to the animals in our zoo and providing top High Level Taronga customer service to our zoo guests!
About the Role…
This position is responsible for providing, developing and Conducting best practice training and ongoing management of the Zoos Guest experience team. You will help develop, manage coordinate the tours and encounters provided to our Zoo guests and across our 3 accommodation outlets.
Your Day to Day… Shifts work on a 7-day rotating roster including; Some weekends, public holidays, andschool holiday periods, therefore mixed availability is necessary.
Shift times will be determined at commencement of this role

Key Accountabilities…
·Engage with Guests while conducting tours of Taronga Western Plains Zoo’s animal exhibits and ‘behind the scenes’ areas in accordance with established procedures.
·Host guests during overnight programs at our award winning Zoofari Lodge, including Customer service, Food and Beverage service.
·Assist in coordination, training and supervision of staff
·Engage visitors about the Zoo’s animal collection, captive breeding programs and research projects & Conservation programs.
·Comply with Taronga’s Customer Service Charter and suggest initiatives for further improvement to ensure industry leading standards are maintained.
·Comply with and suggest sustainability practices in the workplace to help achieve Taronga’s sustainability targets and reduce environmental
·Provide excellent customer service to visitors at all times and lead by example
About You…
We are looking for candidates that have:
·Hold a current NSW LR Drivers License or ability to have existing license formally recognised, including manual desirable
·Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification & Current First Aid or the potential to obtain certification
·NSW Working with Children Check
