You'll ensure the optimal performance of assets, covering electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and warehouse control systems. Your main tasks will include organising modifications, corrective maintenance, and performance improvements of Vanderlande equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll provide expert advice on system performance and promote continuous improvement.In addition, you'll also help develop site teams, enhancing their technical skills to meet service goals. During system outages, you'll take on technical leadership, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders.**Your Responsibilities:*** Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues to minimise downtime and ensure optimal system performance. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to keep equipment running efficiently and safely.* Stay updated with the latest technologies and develop new methods to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.* Contribute to strategic plans to enhance service delivery and support the distribution centre's goals. Lead training sessions to improve the technical skills of the service team. Promote a collaborative work environment and encourage open communication and teamwork.* Develop and implement initiatives to enhance system performance, reduce downtime, and increase efficiency. Mentor junior technicians and support their professional growth. Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with OH&S procedures.* Conduct regular inventory audits and manage procurement system housekeeping. Support maintenance planning and analyse parts usage and asset performance.* Facilitate effective relationships with all departments, liaise with suppliers and subcontractors, and drive performance improvement.* Support emergency escalations and ensure CMMS reporting compliance.* Use analysis methods to determine maintenance demands and recommend critical spares holdings.
