ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Mane Consulting is representing an NSW government organisation in their search for a Principal Cyber Security & DevSecOps Operations Engineer to join their growing team in Sydney on an initial 5-6 month, daily-rate contract basis. The organisation are currently seeking a Cyber & Cloud security expert to strengthen security practices across the organisations core data platform.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Principal Cyber Security & DevSecOps Operations Engineer you will assess the existing security infrastructure to identify potential gaps or areas of improvement, utilising your expert knowledge of cloud security practices and ISO27001 standards. You will support the rollout and implementation of a range of IAM and SIEM tools/practices whilst working closely with existing team in a fast-paced environment.
ABOUT YOU
The be successful in the Principal Cyber Security & DevSecOps Operations Engineer role you should have:
* Expertise in Cloud DevSecOps & Azure Cloud Security practices
* IAM experience in Entra ID, Security Incident & Event Management
* SIEM experience in MS Sentinel, CIS Benchmarking & Cloud Security best practices
* Strong knowledge of Cloud Security as Code (IaC)
* In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001 standards
* Experience in implementing Azure Security Controls, Okta Fast Pass, Password management solutions and similar and other cloud security solutions
* Prior experience in Cyber Security Operations within NSW government organisations would be highly advantageous
