Opportunity
We are seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer to join our multidisciplinary water team in Newcastle.
You will design water and wastewater treatment plants, reservoirs, pump stations and conveyance pipelines.
Your responsibilities include reviewing design requirements, conducting site investigations, performing calculations and modelling, overseeing drafting, and preparing reports and specifications.
You will build strong client relationships, understand client business needs, and provide solutions and service both off and on site.

Your Ideal Skills and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or closely related engineering discipline
Experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
Knowledge of safety in design, constructability and operational practices and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
Knowledge of risk management with the ability to identify project and design related risks
Experience managing small to medium engineering design projects
A commitment to working safely, and within the company's HSEQ systems
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills to interact with a broad range of audiences
Ability to travel on occasions as the work requires
